Nukk-Freeman & Cerra, PC (NFC), a top-ranked Employment Law Firm representing management, is pleased to welcome Iman Wells as Associate. Ms. Wells’ practice focuses on the defense of management in employment-related disputes. Prior to joining NFC, Iman worked at Verizon as an ADA Compliance Consultant and was Law Clerk to the Honorable Bahir Kamil, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division. At NFC, Ms. Wells counsels employers on employee handbooks, policies, performance improvement plans, disciplinary materials and separation agreements and releases, with a focus on avoiding liability and preventing litigation. Ms. Wells received her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law and her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University. She is currently the Co-Director of Recruitment and Retention form the Rutgers University Black Law Alumni Network.

 

Ryan S. Carlson and Jennifer M. Levanchy have been promoted to the position of Counsel. Mr. Carlson focuses his practice on the representation of management in employment litigation matters under state and federal law, with an emphasis in defending claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, whistle-blowing, and litigation involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants. Carlson earned his J.D. from Delaware Law School, Widener University, graduating magna cum laude and his B.A. from Rutgers University.

 

Jennifer M. Levanchy focuses her practice on the defense of management in employment-related disputes in federal and state court, and before administrative agencies and FINRA. Ms. Levanchy defends single and multiple-plaintiff litigation on behalf of employers brought under federal employment discrimination statutes such as Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA, and the New Jersey equivalents. Jennifer received her J.D. from Seton Hall University and her B.A. from New York University.

Rivero Mestre LLP announced today that Kadian N. Blanson has been named a partner in their Miami office.

Blanson’s practice focuses on counseling construction, insurance, commercial, energy, and real estate entities in finding creative solutions to complex business problems. She also represents public officials, executives, managers, corporations, and professionals at all stages of white-collar criminal investigations and litigation.

Blanson graduated summa cum laude and salutatorian from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University and received her undergraduate degree in communications from Florida State University. During law school, she spent three years as an intern in the Torts and Commercial Downstream Litigation department at Exxon Mobil Corporation.
